Neighbird is a video-first news organization that focuses on the interconnectedness of humans and their environment. We love to sink our teeth into the nuances of the challenges our world faces from science, tech and conservation perspectives. And pounce at every opportunity to rave about how incredible our planet is.

We are run by a small team of journalists and a network of freelancers under the umbrella of InOldNews, a media development organization.

Manon Verchot

Manon is a multimedia journalist and co-founder of InOldNews, the organization that runs Neighbird. She formerly headed video at Mongabay, Hindustan Times and Mint.

Sanshey Biswas

Starting his career as a print journalist in '14 at a weekly newspaper in India, he quickly gravitated to working on the digital side. He is a self-taught multimedia journalist who loves to learn from and with his colleagues spread across the globes.
